Ronin HR is dedicated to providing recruitment and HR advisory services for the Okanagan tech community. The Okanagan has grown quickly into one of the leading technology regions in Canada, and is home to some of the most innovative companies in the country. We are committed to supporting the continued growth of the sector by providing bespoke services specifically geared toward the challenges faced by technology companies. Effective recruitment is more than just identifying candidates with the right technical qualifications. Ingrid discovered her passion for recruiting in 2004, in Vancouver. Since then, she has created opportunities to recruit while working with technology firms in the Okanagan. She is excited about developing her passion further, and dedicating herself full-time to Ronin HR and working with the Okanagan technology community.

Ingrid has worked in Sweden, the UK, Japan and Canada, and has developed a keen understanding of cultural issues in the workplace. Working in the tech industry in Kelowna since 2007, she has developed a solid network and a thorough understanding of the local tech climate and its requirements.

Richard is fortunate to wear many hats and have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of companies and organizations in the Okanagan. This exposure has allowed him to develop a broad network of resources and understand the unique challenges faced by companies in the region, especially those in the technology sector. The difficulty in attracting top tech talent to the Okanagan was the impetus behind the creation of Ronin HR.
Richard brings a wide range of global experience from law to manufacturing to working closely with startups on strategy and corporate development. Since moving to the Okanagan, Richard has been active in the technology community, and has a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges faced by tech startups

Goal

Ronin HR will assist the Okanagan tech community in finding the talent required for continued growth, as well as providing a full range of HR advisory services. A solid HR foundation is often overlooked by many companies, and we can provide the support and resources necessary to set in place the proper policies and procedures. We are well aware of the staffing challenges that technology companies can encounter and can also assist with outsourcing and contract staffing from administrative to C-level positions.
