Intermediate Account Manager at IMPACT

 

IMPACT Radio Accessories has an immediate opening for an Intermediate Account Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate has 3-5 years’ experience in B2B Sales and customer service, with a focus on creating relationships. The Kelowna-based team is dedicated and hard-working, but they also find time to have fun together. IMPACT is set for significant growth over the next few years, and there is a large untapped market for their products. 

IMPACT Radio Accessories designs and manufactures unique RF communication products for public safety, military, security, retail, and hospitality applications. They took years of feedback and input from customers and set out to design and build exactly what customers asked for: OEM quality reliable, super tough products at aftermarket prices.

IMPACT operates out of their head office in Kelowna, and they manage a distribution center in the US. The role of the Account Manager is to handle  existing relationships with dealerships across North America, and to grow new opportunities. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Own, meet/exceed annual sales targets set out in the company forecast by building strong internal and external relationships
  • Improve sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
  • Develop a wide and deep understanding of IMPACT product lines, competitors and user markets
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with dealer accounts and stakeholders
  • Negotiate dealer agreements and process orders to maximize profits
  • Ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients’ queries 
  • Build strong client relationships, through regular communication 
  • Suggest company products/services that maximize client satisfaction 
  • Communicate product and pricing details clearly 
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives 
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas 
  • Forecast and track account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) 
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within assigned accounts 
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed 

 

Requirements:  

  • Documented experience in Sales and Customer Service, servicing business clients
  • Experience using software to record leads, sales etc (Microsoft Dynamic CRM experience a bonus)
  • Experience in B2B or manufactured goods distribution sales model a definite asset
  • Outstanding English communication skills over the phone and in writing
  • Sales training in previous roles
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Valid passport – travel might be required 1-2 times per year to customer sites
  • A desire to help customers understand IMPACT’s products
  • Willingness to go the extra mile

 

Compensation:

  • $40-55K annually plus commission
  • Medical/Dental benefits program
  • 3 weeks paid vacation
